The Agrupación Fotográfica de Guadalajara gives more than 40 years nearing photography to the public. With a replete calendar of expositions in its hall of the Benito Chavarri Street in Guadalajara, near the Modern Theatre, obtain that in Guadalajara can be seen the tendences and evolutions of the spanish photographic world.

Near its Social Contest every month, the Agrupación organizes anually the Photographic Provincial Award, for provincial authors, collaborates in the organization of Tomas Camarillo National Award and over all, its famous "Abeja de Oro" National Award, so widely desired by the spanish photographers. Its president, Santiago Bernal, and its Directive Assembly obtain, day by day, that grow the interest in Guadalajara to the photography.
